What an excellent album! The opening track is similar to Marty Stuart’s Way out West, and then screams into hard country rocking Lookin Back Blues. Jason is not afraid to sing about any topic, making a great song out of John the Baptist’s life, including that he spits out words like a punk rock singer!!! God bless the Ramones couldn’t be truer, praising the original punk rockers and jabbing the corporate radio at the same time! The rest of the album doesn’t disappoint, some mellow, some fun, all great songs!!!
